Notify Basic Dashboard - Manage subscribers
Notify is your mass notification system. You will use this system to send emails, texts, and phone calls to different blocks of subscribers.
As a teacher or school administrator, you will have access to the Notify Basic Dashboard, also referred to as manual notes.
A user will only be able to see the list they have user rights to, but they will have the option to create new lists as well.
Adding Subscribers
Log in to the website and click the messaging tab seen on the left-hand side. On the next menu select Notify Basic Dashboard
Click on the blue square next to the Notify List you wish to update subscribers for
Across the top of the page, you will see 3 options to add subscribers. Select the option you would like to use.
- Add Subscribers will be used when a profile(s) for the desired subscriber(s) already exists in the system. (This includes SIS integrated contacts)
- Create Subscribers will be used when the person you want to add as a subscriber does not have an existing profile in the system.
- Import CSV will e used when multiple people you want to add as subscribers do not have existing profiles.
Option 1: Add Subscribers
After clicking on the "Add Subscribers" button you will see a list of all the available profiles. You can search for the desired profile or use the filter options to make selecting the desired subscribers for your list (selected entries will be highlighted in purple). Once you have selected the desired profiles click save to add them as subscribers to your list.
This includes both manually created profiles and profiles brought in with the SIS integration.
Option 2: Create Subscribers
After clicking the Create Subscriber option you will need to fill in the profile card.
- Add the Subscribers Name and the preferred Language
- Make sure to check the option to "include in Everone message" if you want this contact included in the "everyone" Note
- Fill in the optional details
- Add the Contact information. You can click the "add more contact info" button to include additional contacts for this profile.
- The Purple Manage subscriptions button at the bottom will allow you to add this profile as a subscriber to any of the existing notes.
Click on the Green Save button when you are done
Fileds marked with an * are mandatory
Option 3: Import CSV File
After clicking the Import option you will need to download the template CSV file.
Leave the header row in place and fill in the contact information.
If a field is not needed leave the cell blank (See the Example below)
- Click "Template CSV File" and add the desired profile information.
- After saving your CSV click on the "Choose File" option.
- Select your document and click the Green upload file button
Your subscribers have been uploaded!
