POS ~ Device / Link 2500

The Point of Sale card reader is a Link 2500. This device will be used to accept Credit and Debit card transactions. 
The devices are set up in 2 phases. Phase one is connecting or adding the device to the Point of Sale listed on your website. Phase two is connecting the device to WIFI



   From the Site Administration Page click the "Online Store", Point of Sale" and then select "Devices".







    This will bring you to the Manage Tab for existing devices. You can edit or delete a device by clicking the Icons to the left of the device name. 

 Edit:  Click this Icon to manage the device name, serial number, or Cash drawer option
 Delete: Click this icon to permanently delete a device from the system. 




   If you need to add a new device simply switch to the Add Device Tab and complete the following information.  


Name: You can name the device anything you would like.
Serial Number: The serial number can be found on the back of the device and is labeled IPSN
Cash Drawer: If you plan to accept both cash and card you can turn this feature on to help with inventory tracking and reporting. 
Click "Add Device" when you are done.



   Now that our device is connected to the POS we will need to connect it to WiFi

Turn the Card reader on by pressing the “Enter key”
(Green Button)

On the Pin Pad Press 2634.

Press the F key

Scroll up and down using the F2/F3 keys and select
“Tetra Admin”


Navigate to and select
“Configure Wi-Fi”

Navigate to and select
“Scan networks”

Find and select the network you wish to connect to. 


 Enter the password by using the numbers on the keypad. (T9)
Use the # key to input symbols,
Use the yellow key to backspace/delete text.
You can also pull up an on-screen keyboard by using the
F1 - F4 Navigation keys



After connecting to the Wifi  You should see a Green WiFi signal in the top left corner.

If the Wifi symbol stays white you have entered the wrong password and will need to try again.






You are now ready to take payments!
