POS ~ Device / Link 2500
The Point of Sale card reader is a Link 2500. This device will be used to accept Credit and Debit card transactions.
The devices are set up in 2 phases. Phase one is connecting or adding the device to the Point of Sale listed on your website. Phase two is connecting the device to WIFI
Add a Link 2500 to the point of sale.
From the Site Administration Page click the "Online Store", Point of Sale" and then select "Devices".
This will bring you to the Manage Tab for existing devices. You can edit or delete a device by clicking the Icons to the left of the device name.
If you need to add a new device simply switch to the Add Device Tab and complete the following information.
Name: You can name the device anything you would like.
Serial Number: The serial number can be found on the back of the device and is labeled IPSN
Cash Drawer: If you plan to accept both cash and card you can turn this feature on to help with inventory tracking and reporting.
Click "Add Device" when you are done.
Connecting the Link 2500 to WIFI
Now that our device is connected to the POS we will need to connect it to WiFi

Find and select the network you wish to connect

backspace/delete text. You can also pull up an on-screen keyboard by using the F1 - F4 Navigation keys | After connecting to the Wifi You should see a Green WiFi signal in the top left corner. If the Wifi symbol stays white you have entered the wrong password and will need to try again. |
