Upload a Video to my Page without using YouTube

Upload Videos

Videos can be uploaded to your file cabinet, but first, there are some things to keep in mind:

Section 1: Uploading Video files to the Audio/Video Drawer.

Log in to the Site Administration and navigate to the File cabinet & Audio/Video drawer.

Select Manage Files next to your folder title.

Once inside your folder, you have 2 options to upload:

  1. Drag and drop the file from your computer.
It's quicker to have the folder that contains your video open for easy access.

  2. Select the video(s) by using the file selector.

You will be able to see that the files are uploading and monitor their progress.

Once the file(s) have been uploaded, you'll see the video just below the "Drag & Drop Files" box.

Section 2: Inserting uploaded videos into Text Areas.

Once the video file has been uploaded, you can insert it into any page with a text editor.

The first step after opening the text area will be to hit the "Insert Video" button.

Choose the video you would like to insert on this page.

This article only covers instructions for inserting videos uploaded to the File Cabinet. For instructions on embedding Videos, click here.

Once you have selected the video to insert, you can choose the alignment type for your video, which determines how text is presented accompanying the video.

Once you select the save button, you should see the video inside the text editor.

Be sure to save your work!
