POS ~ Product Management

POS ~ Product Management

Point of sale products are managed separately from your online store products. They can be housed into categories or listed without a category.
Categories, Sub Categories, and products can all be managed from the Products tab under Point of Sale.

From the Site Administration Page click the "Online Store" , "Point of Sale" and then select "Products".

Selecting "Products" will bring you to the "Manage" products/categories screen.

You should see the Title, Image, Name, Price Quantity, and Visibility status for all existing products. There are also several tools available to help manage your existing products.

Edit:  Click this Icon to manage the product's or catagorie's information.
(This includes the name, image, price, assigned category, or associated accounting code.)
Copy:  Click this icon to create a copy of the product. (This is useful if you need to create multiple products that have similarities. )
Delete: Click this icon to permanently delete a product or category from the system.
Visibility: Click this Icon to toggle product visibility. ( This can be used to hide products from the online store)

Products can be put into categories and subcategories. To manage existing categories simply toggle the product/category tab just above the existing products.

To add a new category for your products click "Add Category" next to the "Manage" tab.

Think of categories like folders.

Give your Category a Name, apply an optional category code, select a parent category (if this is a subcategory) upload an image, and click "Add Catagory".
