Embed your Twitch page

Embed your Twitch page

How to Embed your Twitch page:

Step 1. Log into your twitch account and locate the share icon. Click on the option to share via embed.

Step 2. A popup window will appear and you will highlight and copy the code under the “Using an iframe” option.

Step 3.  Back on your school website you will navigate to the page you want to embed the Twitch feed to. (This can be any page, stack item, or module with a text editor.) Once you are on the page you want you will click “Source” on text editor and paste the code we copied earlier into the white text area.

Step 4. You will notice that your channel ID is listed in this source code and the "Parent"  is currently set to www.example.com  you will need to replace www.example.com with the web address for your school website.
(I used a demo site in the example below.)  I replaced  www.example.com   with the domain for the school site where the twitch is being embbeded.

Step 5. Save the changes or update the page and go “back to site” to make sure everything is working correctly. You should now see your twitch page.
