Clearing Browser Cache Folder

Clearing Browser Cache Folder

Why is clearing your Internet Browser's cache important?

Your internet browser saves data from each site that you visit, the data is stored in a temporary folder called cache. When you visit a website, the browser retains data such as the images or videos in order to load that site faster the next time you visit.
This can cause an issue if you are updating the website regularly or often, as the browser cache folder wants to be quick to show you the page, it may not be showing you the latest version of that page.

The more time you spend online and the more sites that you visit, or the more editing and updating content that you do on your website, the bigger the cache folder can become. You may start to notice that the cache needs to be cleared if you’ve made an update, maybe added a new image to the homepage slideshow, and the site refuses to acknowledge the edits you’ve just made.

Caution: You may lose some data such as saved usernames and passwords or shopping cart contents.
